Data Collection Notice - DepEd Account Management

In compliance with Republic Act No. 10173, otherwise known as the Data Privacy Act of 2012, the ICT Unit of the Schools Division Office of Cavite Province hereby informs you of the following:

Purpose of Data Collection
The personal information you provide in this request form is collected solely for the purpose of processing your DepEd Account Management request, including DepEd Google Workspace (Gmail) requests and DepEd Microsoft 365 account requests such as password reset, account update, or account deletion/deactivation. Your data will not be used for any other purpose without your explicit consent.

Data Collected
The following information may be collected, depending on the type of request: full name, plantilla position, contact number, personal or recovery email address, permanent station, district office, school, functional division, unit/section, existing DepEd Gmail address, Microsoft account address, school Microsoft account, and other request-specific details needed to validate, process, and complete your request.

Data Security and Retention
All submitted data is stored securely within the SDO Cavite ICT Ticketing System. Access is restricted to authorized ICT personnel only. Where necessary to complete your request, relevant account details may be used by authorized personnel to coordinate actions within DepEd-managed Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 environments. Your data will be retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose of your request, after which it will be securely disposed of in accordance with applicable DepEd data governance policies.

Data Sharing
Your personal information will not be shared, sold, or disclosed to any third party outside of DepEd without your consent, except as required by law or by official DepEd directives.

Your Rights
Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the right to be informed, to access your data, to object to processing, to correct inaccuracies, and to seek indemnification for damages. To exercise these rights, please contact the SDO Cavite ICT Unit.
